Riot by Dan Hauss

Dan Hauss – the creator that brought you Redline, Flow, LIT, and Sleeping Queens – presents a visual miracle. One signed card slowly, visually rises from the middle of the deck all the way to the top – in the most fair, clean, and fluid manner imaginable.

A card is selected from the deck and signed. It is left outjogged in the middle of the pack. Slowly and visually, the signed card moves up through the deck, penetrating the remaining cards in a visual display entirely under your control at all times.

Our second release from the mind of Dan Hauss, RIOT was filmed and taught in high definition. Every nuance is covered in complete detail.

This feature length, 28 minute 1-on-1 video also includes an additional handling and presentation wherein the signature itself visually jumps to the top of the deck in the blink of an eye. Instant and visual – this is how the rising card SHOULD look.

Everything looks clean, clear, and natural – and the angles are extremely easy to manage. Learn it, love it, and use it wisely. This is RIOT.

My overall Thoughts of the Effect :
My first thoughts after watching the preview were:This is Fallen, but done with one hand, no cover, and angles are 99999x better.

Is this a replacement for Fallen? No. Its more than possible you won’t be with this gimmick and you’ll want to do this effect. Then… do Fallen. However, I plan on using this a lot. The gimmick is AWESOME!!!! I’m trying to think of some other ways to use it. I’m creating a routine where I actually make an entire deck disappear except the chosen card. (I’m very close.)

I would say buy it. If your a purist, don’t get this. The effect does use a gimmick. This is a creative one though. So creative its scary… Dan Hauss is not human. I am in LOVE with this gimmick. Its so simple to perform as well. Many people have complained about Riot, but I don’t see why in all honesty. The effect is awesome. It takes the card rise to a new level.
